Remember Not all Thieves are Stupid
The following information will give you something to think about when using all of your personal electronic technology.
A couple of weeks ago a friend told me that someone she knew had their car broken into while they were at a football game. Their car was parked on the green which was adjacent to the football stadium and specially allotted to football fans. Things stolen from the car included a garage door remote control, some money and a GPS which had been prominently mounted on the dashboard.
When the victims got home, they found that their house had been ransacked and just about everything worth anything had been stolen. The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to the house. They then used the garage remote control to open the garage door and gain entry to the house. The thieves knew the owners were at the football game, they knew what time the game was scheduled to finish and so theyknew how much time they had to clean out the house. It would appear that they had brought a truck to empty the house of its contents.
Something to consider if you have a GPS – don’t put your home address in it.. Put a nearby address (like a store or gas station) so you can still find your way home if you need to, but no one else would know where you live if your GPS were stolen.
This lady has now changed her habit of how she lists her names on her mobile phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag, which contained her cell phone, credit card, wallet… Etc…was stolen. Twenty minutes later when she called her hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had happened, hubby says I received your text asking about our Pin number and I’ve replied a little while ago.’ When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn.
The thief had actually used the stolen cell phone to text ‘hubby’ from the contact list and got hold of the pin number from hubby. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from their bank account.
The 5 Moral Lessons:
1. Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list.
2. Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc….
3. And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back.
4. Also, when you’re being texted by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don’t reach them, be very careful about going places to meet family and friends who text you.
5. Never have your home listed on your GPS.
Pass this information on to your family & friends and help them protect themselves from possible theft and danger as well.

Human Nature, and Safety and Security
In trying to understand human nature when it comes to safety and security, there seems to be one common thing that eludes a lot people, even if their personal life seems to be fairly serene, calm and routine, is the feeling of security when alone and no one else is around.
Or even at the opposite end of the spectrum, when in large crowded areas of the city or even at a crowded sporting event or concert, that feeling of vulnerability can be a common issue.
What is it that gives us that sense of insecurity?
Is it a natural instinct we are born with, maybe seeing something on TV, at the movies, a story someone told, a shocking or horrifying experience of your own or someone close to you, maybe a family member?
It’s probably a little of all of the a fore mentioned components combined.
The combination of instinct and bad experiences which causes that sense of vulnerability, can only be corrected by:
- learning the coping skills to help lessen that sense of vulnerability, by learning more about your environment, your strengths and weaknesses and vulnerabilities
- learning the necessary self-defense tactics to confidently defend yourself in the event of an attack
- learning and implementing the necessary preventive steps to keep yourself from placing yourself into vulnerable positions in the first place
- learning about and acquiring the necessary defensive weapon(s) that best suite your given situation and making sure what ever weapon you choose will be one you will be willing to use
Remember to consider the potential threats that exist in order to properly secure your position to help prevent an attack from occurring in the first place, is very important.
If you are attacked, having a strategy or a plan in place before it occurs will give you a better chance at warding off an attacker.
It’s like anything else in life, a little preventive measure can save you from a lot of nasty and unpleasant cures.
Survival Driving: 4 “Escape & Evasion” Tips
When you think about protecting yourself from violence, you most likely think about your self-defense training, firearms skills, even your plans for surviving in place during a catastrophic event.
But violence comes in many forms.
And there’s one area that most people don’t even consider preparing for, and it’s a HUGE mistake!
For example, what if you were:
Attacked by a crowd of people at a demonstration?
Being chased by a driver on the highway who you mistakenly cut off and he’s trying to run you down?
Targeted by a gang as a victim of opportunity?
(True story.. in New Mexico, gangs initiated new members by driving around with their lights off. The first oncoming car that flashed its lights as a “friendly heads up” would become the “target car”. The gang would circle around and the new member’s role was to shoot at the car… no matter WHO was in it!)
For this reason, you need to include “evasive driving” in your survival plan.
Now that DOESN’T mean you must have a fast car and go to bodyguard school.
In fact, here are 4 tips you can master now for evasive driving skills when you’re being chased by a car full of attackers:
The one who survives a high-speed car chase isn’t usually the fastest, it’s the one who doesn’t crash.
Watch those idiots being chased by police on shows like “Cops” and those crazy “caught on video” shows and you’ll see that all the police have to do is follow the perp until he wraps himself around a telephone pole and then put the cuffs on him.
In a chase, try not to travel over 65mph to make sure you can handle your car effectively on the turn of a dime.
Rather than try to outrun someone, let them get close enough to you and then take a quick, last minute turn in a different direction.
Action is faster than reaction and if they’re behind you, they won’t be able to respond in time to take the same turn you just did. They’ll either crash or have to back up to follow you and by then, you’ll be long gone.
If you’re being chased by someone on the highway, identify an upcoming exit and move to the far LEFT lane.
With your pursuer close behind you, make sure you have clearance and at the last minute, shoot across all 4 lanes to barely make your exit. It will be difficult for them to back up, especially in the left lane against traffic, to follow you.
If you’re driving at night, reach under your seat and pull out a 2- to 5,000,000 candlepower spotlight. (You can get these from any boating or auto store.)
Shine it behind you at the driver and you’ll instantly blind him. He’ll likely stop the car out of sheer panic of crashing (which he may do).
These are just a few of the tricks you can use to escape from someone while you’re in your vehicle.

Learn Fight Ending Street Fighting Techniques
This street fighting instructional series is NOT the typical “karate 101” stuff little Johnny is learning down at the local strip mall Tae Kwon Do school.
These are gut-wrenching, brutal tactics that will test your “mental fortitude” when it comes to how far you’re willing to go to protect yourself.
Cutting edge techniques like:
* A simple hand movement can give you complete control over an attacker’s body! (Combine this with a nearby wall and you’ll break bones, cause concussions and render your attacker utterly helpless!)
* How to “drill” into soft tissue spots like an oil rigger to cause instant and uncontrollable panic in your attacker and shut down his ability to fight!
* An old school British “gutter brawl” move that will leave them howling in pain!
* How to use a street thug’s head like a bowling ball to overwhelm his central nervous system and throw him like a rag doll over a table, chair, or into his buddies who are running to answer his screams of pain!
See what I mean?
But now the real question is…
Do you have it in you to do these brutal moves in order to defend yourself?
Here is a sample video of the kind of instruction you will receive with this training program.
